History: The building has been empty for a year and a half.
The Challenge: The site needs new flooring and a fresh coat of paint, according to Hatboro Main Street Manager Stephen Barth. "Prospective tenants have difficulty seeing past the condition of how it looks currently and to (what) it can become," he said.
Interest: Barth said he's shown the building to many prospects, including those interested in opening a health food shop, candy store, flower shop, computer store and medical offices.
Potential: The site offers great visibility along the main portion of Hatboro's downtown shopping district and adjoins the borough's municipal back parking lot.
