Looking to save money and get away? Try one of these trips you can enjoy on just one tank of gas: Philadelphia Eagles training camp in Bethlehem, "Our Town" in West Chester and the Bucks County River in Point Pleasant.

Eagles Training Camp

Summary: See your favorite players up close as the Philadelphia Eagles gear up for the 2012-13 season. Training camp includes a merchandise tent, autograph tent, children’s activities, food vendors and a chance to meet cheerleaders and mascot Swoop. Tailgate or bring a cooler. The autograph tent is open after afternoon practice only. A limited amount of numbered tickets are distributed to fans as they arrive. Winning tickets are selected at random.

About: The Commonwealth Classic Theatre Company is performing Thorton Wilder's "Our Town" to benefit the West Chester Food Cupboard. Admission is free, though attendees are encoraged to bring a dry good item (soap, toilet paper, diapers, shampoo, etc) to benefit the shelter.

Bucks County River Country

Address: 2 Walters Lane, Point Pleasant
Admission: $20 to $25 for tubing, group rates and passes available
Hours: Open everyday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Summary: Some of the attractions of the Bucks County river area are: two-to-four hour trips on the scenic Delaware River in 80-degree waters, average depth of one to four feet, family tube or raft ride along the river in charming Point Pleasant. For the more adventurous, try canoe and kayak trips or the new Full Moon nighttime trip. No age limit. Enjoy a BBQ lunch at the Riverside Cafe on the sandy beach. $10 tubing specials and live webcam on the Web site.
