Bryn & Dane's to Expand Healthy Fast Food Sites

Horsham-based Bryn & Dane's last week launched a second township location and is now setting its sights on Plymouth Meeting.

In an economy when workers are clinging to their jobs and employers are continually finding ways to squeak by with the status quo, Bryn Davis wants to be "overstaffed."

Davis, founder and owner of Horsham-based Bryn and Dane's, last week held a launch party for a second Horsham location, inside the Horsham Athletic Club. With that dual catering/cafe hub barely out of the box, Davis is looking at his next site.

A new 2,500-square-foot location in Plymouth Meeting is expected to open in either September or October, he said. To do that, his plan is to hire as many people as possible.

"We're kind of understaffed in Horsham," Davis told Patch. "We're hiring this summer to be overstaffed."

Davis anticipated hiring 40 people for the Plymouth Meeting location alone, as well as more staff for the main Horsham location at 400 Privet Road, and the Kitchen and Cafe at 400 Horsham Road.

"I want to stockpile great people," Davis said.

With the newest location on the horizon, the ever-entrepreneurial Davis said a possibility of a "partnership" could help to make Bryn and Dane's a household name in more communities. Davis said three to four additional locations could crop up within the next year.
