How to Recycle Corks, Eyeglasses

Did you know wine corks can be recycled?

Patch users across the Philadelphia area have shown increasing interest in how to recycle or safely dispose of any number of household items. So we've put together a series of resources for you and your neighbors, including locations in Hatboro-Horsham Patch and nearby. Most people know about how to recycle regular household items like paper and plastic, but more things are recyclable than people might realize.

Whole Foods Markets accept corks for recycling through the Cork ReHarvest program run by the Cork Forest Conservation Alliance.

ReCork by Amorim also operates a cork collection location at the Valley Forge Radison Hotel in King of Prussia.


All Walmart locations have an eyeglasses drop off location for safe recycling.

You can drop off your eyeglasses to recycle at the Horsham Library - there is a collection box for them in the Cafe. Cell phones, too. :)
