Hoping for a white weekend? You may be out of luck with Mother Nature, but you can craft some of the fluffy stuff while learning local history at the Moland House. Here's what else is happening this weekend:

SECOND SATURDAY HATBORO

Where/when: Downtown Hatboro, Saturday from noon to 6 p.m.

‘DROP DEAD’ FUNNY

Where/when: The Village Players of Hatboro, 401 Jefferson Ave., Hatboro, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

Why go: Share a few laughs while watching this hilarious play within a play.

Cost: $12 for Friday and Saturday showings; $10 for Sunday shows.

SNOWFLAKES!

Where/when: The Moland House, 1641 Old York Road, Hartsville, Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Why go: Make snowflake crafts while touring the Moland House and learning about when the Continental Army was camped at the site in 1777.

Cost: Donations accepted

SOWING SEEDS 

Where/when: 435 W. Glenside Ave., Glenside, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Why go: Learn how to start your garden from seed this year.

Cost: $10 

LEARN TO CROSS-COUNTRY SKI

Where/when: Peace Valley Nature Center, 170 N. Chapman Road, Doylestown, Saturday from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Why go: Learn about the history of cross-country skiing, proper equipment and clothing, as well as places to go and where to get what you need. The session also features a demonstration of basic steps and questions answered.
