CHRISTMAS DINNER & A SHOW

Where/when: Lehman Memorial United Methodist Church, 300 S. York Road, Hatboro, Saturday 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Why go: Enjoy a buffet style dinner that will be followed by a Christmas show.

5K RUN AND WALK

Where/when: Simmons Elementary School, 411 Babylon Road, Horsham, Sunday beginning at 9 a.m.

Why go: Proceeds from Horsham Township’s first-ever winter run will benefit Horsham families in need.

Cost: $25 in advance to run; $30 the day of the event.

TEXAS HOLDEM

Where/when: 234 Veterans Way, Warminster, Sunday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Why go: Play poker!

Cost: Free to enter

SCREENING OF ‘ELF’

Where/when: The County Theater, 20 E. State St., Doylestown, Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Why go: See Will Ferrell (as Buddy) in this elfing of a good time.

Cost: $4

CHRISTMAS CAROLING

Where/when: First Presbyterian Church of Willow Grove, 502 Easton Road, Willow Grove, Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Why go: Bring some holiday cheer to shut-ins in the area!
