“We are delighted to offer the Prism Engineering user community another outlet to test its design strength,” said Toby Schnaars, Manager of the SolidWorks Technical Services team at Prism Engineering. “We’re hoping our user-base uncovers new tools and tricks to utilize during daily design tasks while attempting to model a pine car.”

The contest opened for submissions on August 24th, but only the first 150 entries submitted by September 21st will be entered to win prizes. Prizes for winners of the “Best Design” category will include a Google Nexus 7 tablet, and winners of the “Best Photo Rendering” category will receive NVIDIA graphics cards. Prizes will be awarded to winners of the contest categories at Prism’s three largest launch events: Bethlehem, PA on October 5, King of Prussia, PA on October 11, and Pittsburgh, PA on October 16.

“Prism strives to provide its customers with the most exciting launch events possible; this design contest is just another outlet for our customers to improve their SolidWorks skills in a fun way,” said John Ewell, President of Prism Engineering.
