Hatboro Holiday Parade

The event will kick off about 1:30 p.m. with pre-parade entertainment provided by the Dixie Derbys' Square Dance Club and the Timoney Irish Dancers. Beginning at 2 p.m., the line of march will travel along York Road from Newington Drive in Upper Moreland Township at the south end of the borough, to Summit Avenue at the north.

Spectators at the parade will have plenty to see. The event has more than 100 entries, including dozens of entertainment groups, from school and string bands to dance troupes, as well as area dignitaries, fire and rescue units, car clubs, community organizations, youth sports teams, animal rescue units and more.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive at the end of the parade in a carriage drawn by Belgian horses.They'll be followed by "Santa's Helpers," uniformed UPS workers who will collect letters headed for the North Pole.
