Was Your ATV Stolen in Hatboro?

The Hatboro Police have recovered an ATV that they believe may have been stolen.

Have you missed riding your ATV? Are you wondering what happened to it - or do you think it may have been stolen?

The good news is that your lost all-terrain vehicle may have been recovered.

The Hatboro Police Department recovered a quad bike on Feb. 18 at 2:27 a.m., after a caller said someone had been pushing the four-wheeled vehicle in the roadway near Norwyn and Crescent roads.

According to police, the individual fled the area and abandoned the ATV in the road after a resident approached and informed him they were calling the police. The ATV is believed to have been stolen, police said, but they have not received any such recent reports.

In addition, the ATV is not listed as stolen in the National Crime Information Center, police said.

The Hatboro Police Department is requesting that area ATV owners check their vehicles and call Detective Sergeant Cameron Goold at 215-675-2832 if they believe the recovered ATV belongs to them. Callers must provide a detailed description and/or documentation to prove ownership.
