Perfect Weekend Weather to Host a Yard Sale

The heat wave broke just in time for neighborhoods to organize a few community sales.

With the attic and playroom stuffed to critical mass, WarminsterPatch headquarters is putting together a yard sale for Saturday. Our last yard sale was only two years ago, so there’s not much to display besides toys. Lots and lots of toys. Fortunately, we informed the neighbors ahead of time, so there will be a few more along the street, increasing the chances for good foot traffic.

The toys have been in the attic for months, and we just brought them down Thursday night to prepare for Saturday’s sale. Well, you would have thought it was Christmas all over again. A couple items have already been rescued from the chopping block, sure to be played with for a few days, then tossed aside and forgotten about until they are in danger of being sold/thrown away again in a couple more years.

Anyway, weather looks pretty solid for a weekend treasure hunt, with the National Weather Service calling for a sunny day with highs near 80. As always, if your sale is not listed below, be sure to add it to the comments below.
