'Hats' Debut in Hatboro
Hat-shaped decorative lights now adorn 29 of the borough's tall light posts along York Road.
Hatboro now has its own illuminated answer to Broad Street's Avenue of the Arts in Philadelphia.
Crews worked Friday morning to install hat-shaped lights to 29 of the borough's extra-tall light posts along York Road.
Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce VP of Hospitality Kathy Salemno said the chamber–which paid for the decorative fixtures that will remain up year-round–had hoped they would be in place in time for Sunday's 53rd annual Hatboro Holiday Parade.
