From a music benefit concert to festivals and more, there's lots happening in Hatboro, Horsham and nearby this weekend.

This is the weekend to eat, drink and be merry as festivals, concerts, park re-openings and more are scheduled in Hatboro and Horsham. 

DINNER/MUSIC BENEFIT

Where/when: St. Catherine of Siena parish hall, 321 Witmer Road, Horsham, Saturday from 7 p.m. to midnight.

Why go: This fundraiser aimed at restocking the church's pantry features dinner provided by Sam's Italian Market, beer, soda and live music from The Really Big Shoe.

Cost: $35 per person.

HALLOWELL SPRING CARNIVAL

Where/when: Hallowell Elementary School, 200 Maple Ave., Horsham, Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Why go: Enjoy fun, food, music, games and prizes, plus a used book sale in the library.

Cost: $15 for a wristband for kids ages and up.

BOILEAU FESTIVAL

Where/when: 2668 Byberry Road, Upper Moreland, Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Why go: Watch Revolutionary War-era re-enactors, enjoy sheep-herding, a puppet show, live animals, games and pastimes of colonial children, plus spinning, weaving, open fire cooking, and more. 

Cost: Free

COACH BAG BINGO

Where/when: College Settlement Camp, 600 Witmer Road, Horsham, Friday from 6:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. 

Why go: Try your hand at bingo (and chances to win a coach bag). 

Cost: $30 per person (for 12 games)

TANNER PARK GRAND OPENING & DEDICATION

Where/when: Tanner Park, Jefferson Avenue and Tanner Road in Hatboro, Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. 

Why go: Experience the newly renovated Tanner Park playground, which now features 10 brand-new pieces of playground equipment for 2 to 5 year olds and 5 to 12 year olds, including swings, slides, rope climbing and stationary play items. Ronald McDonald will make a special guest appearance.
