Rose Tree Park's 2012 Summer Concert Series

Hours: All concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays
Summary: Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the outdoor music of all types of musicians and bands. From Blackthorn, to Pennsylvania Symphonic Winds to the Philly Party Band, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The free summer concert series runs through Aug. 19. Concerts will be canceled due to inclement weather. There are no rain dates.

About: More free music than ever before awaits Musikfest guests when the nation's largest free, non-gated music festival celebrates its 29th year, Aug. 3-12 in Bethlehem. More than 500 performances will take place during the event's 10-day run, with great, free music on 14 of the festival's 15 stages. Make sure you come ready to do the Chicken Dance!

Bolton Mansion

Admission: Adults are $8, student and seniors are $6
Hours: Tours are offered by appointment. Membership: Single $10; Family $15. Students/Seniors (over 65) $5.
Summary: Bolton Mansion is a historical monument located in Bucks County. It was originally the home of Phineas Pemberton, founding member of the Fallsington Quaker Meeting and close friend to Governor William Penn. A prominent leader in the new colony, Pemberton's message of community involvement is still apparent in the "Friends of Bolton Mansion," a nonprofit volunteer organization. The organization seeks to educate and encourage visitors through historic tours and community events. It also focuses on restoring the mansion. Check out the Concert On the Green, Aug. 18, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with a rain date of Aug. 19.
