Best Parks in the Region

Patch users picked 'em in this week's poll.

We asked Patch users to name their favorite parks. Here are the results.

The came out on top in Doylestown. The Wells Road park includes tennis courts, sports fields, picnic pavilions, open fields, a creek, walking/jogging paths, exercise equipment, and the kids' dream-come-true, the 8-story adventure called Kids Castle.

Another large park . The 243-acre Warminster Community Park took 57 percent of the votes.

There was really where Tamanend Park earned almost 80 percent of votes. "Tamanend Park gets my vote. Walking the trails and enjoying the butterfly garden is very relaxing," Patch user  said.

. The preserved site, which is on the National Register of Historic Places, is home to the Keith House, the only surviving residence of a colonial Pennsylvania governor.

with Lorimer Park edging out Ridgeway Park. If the comments are an indication, many residents are not pleased with the maintenance of the township’s parks. User wrote “The parks in Lower Moreland have alot to be desired!!! The neighboring townships have parks that make Lower Moreland look like north Philly! Horrible.”

Playwicki Farm in a landslide. The park has walking and biking trails on its more than 100 acres. It also features a playground, picnic tables, benches and the historic farmhouse. A farmers' market is held weekly at Playwicki Farm throughout the summer.
