MATT RABII - EAGLE SCOUT

Matthew J. Rabii, Hatboro Troop 3, Boy Scouts of America, proudly accepted the Eagle Challenge at his Court of Honor. The challenge was given by his cousin Brett Fisher. Fellow Scouts and Staff of Hatboro Troop 3 along with Matt’s many friends and family members witnessed his elevation to the rank of Eagle by Scoutmaster Stuart Gentry.

Matt has previously received the Arrow of Light Award and is an Ordeal Member of the Order of the Arrow. He has served as Patrol Leader and  Den Chief with Troop 3 and as Vice President and most recently President of Crew 3. He has enjoyed camping at Camp Daniel Boone, NC; Mount Norris Scout Reservation, VT and Haliburton Scout Reservation, Canada.  Matt has taken the challenge of the High Adventure of Sailing on the Chesepeake Bay as well as Climbing Mount Washington. He has participated at the National Scout Jamboree in 2010 and the challenge of Philmont Scout Ranch, NM.

Matt is a senior at Lower Moreland High School where he participates in Indoor and Outdoor Track and is Captain of the team. He is a member of the Spanish Club; Diversity Member, T.A.S.C Member. Matt is a Huntingdon Valley Youth Center Captain and participates in the LMHS THON fundraiser. He will be a Penn State University Freshman in the fall of 2014.

All of the Scouts of Hatboro Troop 3 invite parents and boys to visit with them, Monday evenings at 7:30PM in the Fellowship Hall, Hatboro Baptist Church. Join in the fun and activities Scouting has to offer.
