Although "almost" everyone is aware that October is Breast Cancer Month and even though "almost" all sports teams show there support by wearing a spot of pink, it always takes a few to step up and get the job done.
These gals took up the challenge to MAKE STRIDES against Breast Cancer.
They visited local businesses soliciting support, set up a pop-up
with tables, displayed quite a few baskets filled with great items and gift cards and held a Chinese Auction at last Friday's Hatboro-Horsham Football game. TERRIFIC EFFORT!
Due to the inclement weather and light attendance, everyone will have another opoportunity, at this Friday's game, to win one of the baskets.
