H-H Names New Varsity Basketball Coach

Enoch, of Lansdale, is coming to Hatboro-Horsham from Lansdale Catholic High School.

Hatboro-Horsham School District welcomed Ed Enoch to its high school as the Head Varsity Basketball Coach during the school board meeting June 16. The board approved hiring Enoch, who over the past 10 years has taken most of his teams to regional championships.

Enoch, of Lansdale, is coming to Hatboro-Horsham from Lansdale Catholic High School, where he has served as the Head Varsity Coach since 2011. Under his direction, his team competed for the first time in school history at the Philadelphia Catholic League playoff berth during the 2012-13 school year. The team then competed again in the playoff this year. Prior to working at Lansdale Catholic High School, Enoch has worked at William Penn Charter High School.

“Ed’s basketball knowledge and connections made him stand out for this position,” Athletics Director Lou James said. “He carries himself with an air of class and dignity, which make him an excellent role model for our student athletes. We are delighted to have him join the district.”
