Annual Moonlight Memories Car Show is July 26 ~ New Sponsors Sign On!!

Approximately 500 specialty vintage autos, muscle cars and trucks that will motor into Hatboro for the 22nd annual event.

The Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce will present its 22nd Annual Moonlight Memories Car Show on Saturday, July 26 from 5 to 10 p.m., rain or shine. The event is held in downtown Hatboro. 

This free, family-friendly event will feature approximately 500 specialty vintage autos, muscle cars and trucks that will motor into Hatboro and line up on both sides of York Road at the south end of the borough from Fulmore Avenue to Summit Avenue at the north end.

The Moonlight Memories exhibitor's entry fee is $15 through Friday, July 18; and $20 on the day of the show. Qualified auto judges will review registered participants who will compete for 30 trophies and six other specialty awards.

The 22nd Annual Moonlight Memories Car Show co-chairmen are Greater Hatboro Chamber President Joseph J. Tryon, Jr., and chamber Vice President/Professional Joseph H. Baskwill.

"Once again, the community of Hatboro welcomes participants, judges, chamber volunteers and visitors to our annual Moonlight Memories Car Show," said Joe Tryon. "For more than two decades this event has showcased our growing community of retail shops, antique and thrift shops, restaurants and commercial businesses. We give heartfelt thanks to our dedicated sponsors, and the area's civic and non-profit organizations for helping us pave the way for this nostalgic cruise down memory lane."

The Moonlight Memories Car Show typically draws more than 50,000 car and truck buffs as well as visitors of all ages. There will be live music and Hatboro restaurants will provide cool summer refreshments. Delaware Valley's WRDV public radio station will host a live broadcast of eclectic tunes from the era.

This year's show highlights will include The Cradle of Liberty Boy Scouts Washington District Pinewood Derby cars which will be displayed near Hatboro's Union Library at 243 S. York Road. 

Also in the vicinity, the Hatboro-Horsham High School Robotics Team and robot will be on hand. A recent addition to the Moonlight Memories festivities will include the Backseat Drivers' Alley, located in the parking lot of Aaron's, Inc., at 312 S. York Road, and will feature a wide variety of non-automotive vendors and crafters.

This year's Moonlight Memories Grand Sponsor is Hatboro Federal Savings and the Automotive Sponsors are O'Neil Buick/GMC, O'Neil Collision. Other sponsors include the Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce, the First National Bank and Trust Company of Newtown, Baskwill Funeral Home, KP Kitchen Crafts, Diverse Technical Lines, Inc. (DTL), Classic Trophies, Inc., and Delaware Valley Concrete Co. And, we just added four new sponsors for the show. They include HALO Branded Solutions, LIttle's of Hatboro/John Deere, Lennon Financial Group, and Hatboro Real Estate.
