Banshees Red Win USSSA Spring Storm in Quakertown

The Banshees Red (U13) won the USSSA Spring Storm World Series Qualifier, held at Veterans Park in Quakertown on April 6.  The Banshees Red went a perfect 4-0 and were seeded number 1 heading into the final day of the tournament.  The Banshees Red overwhelmed the Blue Valley Mountain Lions in the semi-finals 11-1 and came back, after falling behind 4-0, to defeat the Delco Force in the championship game 11-8.  The Banshees had great pitching most of the weekend, which included a no hitter by Tessa Prushan on Saturday, and had one of its better hitting tournaments as well, which including an over the fence home run by catcher Britney Hubler.  Pictured celebrating their first place finishe: (left to right, first row) Kyleigh Dinnien and Casey Taylor, (second row) Logan Cummings, Kate Clark, Brit Hubler.
