Knitting, Billboard Decision, High School Scoreboard Consideration
See what's happening on Tuesday in Hatboro and Horsham.
- Horsham Township will host the 14th annual Project Blue Light ceremony on Tuesday beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Horsham Fire Co., 1023 Horsham Road. The event, which culminates with the lighting of a Christmas tree at Deep Meadow Park, honors the sacrifice of the brave police officers who gave their lives in service to the community. - The Horsham Zoning Hearing Board will meet on Tuesday at the township building, 1025 Horsham Road at 7:30 p.m. The board is expected to render a decision on the request to erect a 300-square-foot billboard on Easton Road. The board is also expected to decide whether Iron Hill Brewery, 1460 Bethlehem Pike, can add outdoor seating to its restaurant.
- The zoners will hear an application related to installing a new, larger-sized scoreboard at Hatboro-Horsham High School, 899 Horsham Road in Horsham. Also before the board is an application for Village Mall, 200 Blair Mill Road in Horsham, related to the possible inclusion of a fitness center.
- The Union Library of Hatboro, 243 S. York Road, will offer its preschool story time on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. and its weekly knitting gathering at 6:30 p.m.
- The Horsham Township Library, 435 Babylon Road, will offer its baby tales story time at 10:30 a.m. and its toddler tales program at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
