H-H Students Seek Donations for Feed A Friend
The Hatboro-Horsham High School is getting ready to help nearly 100 families in need for the holidays.
The goal is to collect enough canned goods and other food items to help families from Hatboro and Horsham so they have enough food for not only the holidays, but also for the weeks ahead. This neighbor-to-neighbor concept is called the Feed-A-Friend program.
Students are seeking donations of the following:
- turkeys and other components of a holiday meal for each family
- cardboard boxes to place the food items in that are to be delivered
- any gift certificates or monetary donations to purchase these items
The delivery date for Feed-A-Friend families is Dec. 23 and donations are needed by Dec. 15 at the latest.
