Your calendar is not mistaken. Even though Thanksgiving Day has not yet arrived, plenty of holiday cheer is being spread this weekend. So, break out the seasonal songs and get ready to meet Santa, check out some light displays and more.

Where/when: Summit Avenue to Newington Road in Hatboro, Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Why go: See some 3,000 parade participants march, or drive by for the borough's 52nd annual holiday celebration.
Why go: Even pooches want to meet Old St. Nick!
Cost: Printed photos cost $10 for 1, or 2 for $15
Where/when: Peddler's Village, routes 202 and 263, Lahaska, Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Why go: At 6:15 p.m., Santa Claus switches on the holiday light display throughout Peddler’s Village, transforming it into a holiday wonderland with one million jewel-colored lights and glistening reindeer.
Where/when: The Metropolitan Ballet Company will stage "Lily's Plastic Purple Purse" and "Peter Pan" at the Abington Friends School, 575 Washington Lane, Jenkintown, Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Why go: Besides enjoying these classics on the stage, Horsham kids are part of the production.
Cost: $12 in advance, $15 at the door.
Where/when: 1111 Easton Road, Warrington, Friday at 8:30 p.m.
Why go: Besides hearing this Neil Diamond tribute band, proceeds benefit Hurricane Sandy victims in Long Beach Island, N.J. and surrounding communities.
