Water Main Work to Reroute Horsham Traffic

A County Line Road water main project gets underway on Oct. 15 and is expected to tie up traffic.

Drivers traveling on County Line Road through Horsham may want to take alternate routes for the next two to three months while a water main project is carried out.

The Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority's project will begin on Oct. 15 and could take up to three months for the Horsham Township section to conclude, according to Horsham's Web site.

Signalized intersections in Horsham include impacted by the construction include:

  • County Line Road and Latchstring Lane
  • County Line Road and Maple Avenue
  • County Line Road and Meetinghouse Road

The project will begin at Valley Road and County Line Road and end where the Turnpike crosses under County Line Road in Southampton. Work will be carried out from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Even though one lane of traffic in each direction will be open during construction, motorists are advised to consider alternate routes as traffic delays are expected.
