Village Players Prepare to 'Bare' It All

The community theater group will present 'Bare: Musically Stripped/Artistically Revealed' as part of its summer concert series this weekend.

This weekend, the are presenting "" the theater's first-ever musical showcase.

The music and performers will be diverse, featuring everything from the Beatles to Oasis, and performers of all skill levels and ages.

"This show has a really outstanding group of musicians," said first-time director .

Fran Carroll, one of the performers, said the show features more than 20 songs.

The troupe's summer concert series will feature singers of varying ages, the youngest being 10 years old.

"['Bare'] is going to please audiences of all ages," Newbauer added.

After weeks of rehearsals "Bare" will be performed Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. at the small community playhouse on Jefferson Avenue in Hatboro. For more information on purchasing tickets, click here.
