Stupid is as Stupid does. Time and time again people leave valuables in plain sight in their cars and the stuff ends up getting stolen. iPhones, laptops, purses, etc. It happens so often that Upper Moreland was considering an township ordinance requiring all park cars be locked when unattended. Of course in this instance locked doors didn't matter. But nothing would have happened if these people had enough sense not to leave the items out in open and easily in view.

I hope someone breaks into your house and steals your valuables your fault for leaving them in plain site through the window of your locked property. I, too sometimes lock my purse in the car, sometimes it is safer there, but I hide it underneath something or put it in the trunk. Bottom line is, not right to take another's property.
