Really? I worked there on and off on breaks during my college years as a Pharmacy tech. That's really disappointing, though back then it was an Eckard, They should have never let that Walmart move in temporary. Still wish we had a dollar theater around. While it was dirty, a little work and loving care could have made that a great indie or budget theater. It's a shame they tore it all down.

Does is make sense to open another Dollar Store just a stones throw from an existing one?
Yes I know in theory the Rosemore one is supposed to replace the Sothampton one but why so close?

Set to close? Somone is a little late with their news. It closed December 22 and all the scripts were sold and transferred to CVS.

A woman I work with said it's still open? She was shopping there Sunday and everything is discounted. Maybe they're open to get rid of left over stock? Not sure how much longer though?

The Pharmacy was closed in December but currently they are going through the consolidator to get rid of the inventory...

Why not transfer prescription to another Rite Aid vs to CVS - that I never understood,.. I live just a block from there and was not happy with the Pharmacy Mgt and only couple of the employees were really good.. But still hate to see that store go,

Hopefully something useful will fill in the vacant stores? An upgrade to the entire center, wouldn't be to bad either. A Big Lots would be ideal for the vacant Walmart. At least the elderly people that live in Blair Mill Village, that don't drive will have some place to shop in walking distance.

Rite Aid closed Rosemore and now Village Mall. and bujilt a new one Street and York Roads in Warminster. Thought they were going to build at York & Almshouse in Jamison but that.s going to be a CVS.
CVS opened Couty Line Road and Davisville in Warminster & County Line and York also in Warminster.
CVS in addmition to Jamison is going to build one iat Lower Statye and County Line (as in 202 expressway area)..
When Village Mall was built the main road weren't available. Kmart I'm sure would have rather been where Wal Mart is. Everybody wants to be on main highways.
There was a proposaly a member of the Pitcairn family to open something - some type of race track - in the old Bradless/WolcoWal-mart store but it was shot down and now you have basically a vacant mall.

Someone told me that Walmart still leases the spot they moved out of. And has a say as to if a big box retail store goes there? Don't know how true that is though? I liked the race track idea, the issue I think was the large group of teens it would attract? Having worked at The Warrington and their beach club,Sunday teen night. Large groups of teens did not mix well together, fights broke out. Teens need a place like the racetrack would have provided. But how do you keep a large group of teens under control that are coming from different areas, without breaking the bank for security?
