Photo Contest: Is Your Pooch The Top Dog?
Upload a photo of your favorite four-legged family member and your pet could vie to become Greater Philadelphia Patch’s Top Dog.

Now, Patch is giving you the chance to prove it.
We bring to you Patch's Top Dog contest.
Here’s how it works:
Beginning June 19, upload your favorite photo of your dog to this article (it’s super easy – just make sure you are a registered user first). In the caption, tell us your dog’s name and what makes him or her so special. One photo per owner.
You aren't a Patch User yet? No problem, just register by clicking here.
We'll accept entries for the Top Dog from June 19 to July 3. During that time, our users will vote in the comments on which dog is Hatboro-Horsham's Top Dog. So make sure you hit that social media campaign trail early. Share your post on Facebook and Twitter to gain more votes! The sooner you post your pup, the earlier you can start netting those votes.
On July 6, we will announce the winner of Hatboro-Horsham Patch's Top Dog contest.
The winners of the local contests will then move on to a regional competition. The voting for that level runs from July 9 to July 20, and again, will take place in the comments section of that article (which will be posted on July 9).
On July 23, the five regional winners will be unveiled, and they will face off to become Greater Philadelphia's Patch’s Top Dog from July 23 to July 27. The winner will be announced July 30.
Look for great prizes at both the regional and Greater Philadelphia levels.
To vote: Look for the number in the top right corner of the photo and refer to that in the comments.

Sweet Jane is one of three of my adopted shelter dogs. She was found as a stray living, and trying to survive all alone, on the streets of West Philadelphia. She was found and taken to the Philadelphia ACCT Shelter. I adopted her in January of 2011 and she currently resides in Hatboro. She has lived up to every bit of her name, Sweet Jane. To show your support...your vote for her would be much appreciated.

I tried to find a place to update comments on the picture but cannot do it. Here is what I wanted to add: . Luna was a pet store dog that was bounced around. By the time she came to us at 8 months old, we were her third home. She was not potty trained and very hyper, and snores like a champ. After much love and training she has become a great dog. She let the kids dress her up, as you can see, and loves everyone. Still snores though! And now sings! She is now almost 5 and makes us laugh all the time.

Thanks. She is such a sweetheart. Neighbors actually use her as bait to catch their runaway dogs. She hops intoa neighbor's minivan and is let out where her buddy is roaming and lures them back to the car. Too funny!
