'One Fit Mama' Classes Blend Babies, Buggies and Better Shape

Kids are needed accessories in these mamas' workout routine.

 

Cardiovascular workout. Check. Fitness gear. Check. Baby? Check. Stroller and accoutrements? Check.

One Fit Mama's exercise classes - at area malls, fitness centers and at Bounce U in Horsham - make working out with baby in tow a no-brainer. The 60-minute classes feature aerobic work, core strengthening and resistance training.

What fit-mamas-to-be should bring to class:

  • Your baby (6 weeks and older)
  • Water - enough for before, during, and after class
  • Stroller or baby carrier
  • Towel or yoga mat
  • Layers/weather protection for you and your baby

I LOVE these classes! I was afraid to do them after my 1st and second were born...then I had my 3rd and I thought why not! I lost a TON of baby weight and I connected with so many fabulous moms! I am now 4 weeks post partum with my 4th and I can't wait to get back to classes! I highly recommend...and if you ar enew, they offer the 1st class FREE so you can try b/4 you commit...how cool is that!
