Hatboro Police Charge 2 Alleged Woman Beaters

Both men were charged with assault and other charges stemming from what Hatboro Police said stemmed from physical altercations against women.

A Hatboro woman sustained scratches and another required ambulance transport to the hospital after separate altercations with men earlier this month, according to police.

  • Michael A. Demianczyk, 22, of Hatboro, was arrested on Sept. 7 at 4:35 p.m. and charged with simple assault, harassment, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia following an alleged incident involving a 52-year-old Hatboro woman in the 20 block of Harding Avenue. 

The victim was transported via ambulance to Abington Memorial Hospital with shoulder injuries, according to police. 

Demianczyk was arraigned before District Justice Hunsicker of Norristown and was incarcerated at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility on $10,000 bail.

  • John J. Jones, 45, of Warrington, was arrested on Sept. 4 at 3:58 p.m. and charged with burglary, criminal trespass, simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct and indirect criminal contempt for violating a Protection From Abuse Order after police said he assaulted a 51-year-old Hatboro woman in the 300 block of North York Road.

He was arraigned before District Justice James Gallagher of Bridgeport and was incarcerated at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility on $10,000 bail. The victim sustained some scratches but did not require medical treatment, according to police.
