The CVS Pharmacy located at 24 S. York Road in Hatboro will close its doors next month, according to Michael DeAngelis, CVS spokesman. DeAngelis said the employees and pharmacy records for the existing 7,000-square-foot building would be transferred to the new 12,900-square-foot store, which is located at the corner of York and County Line roads. The new store is right across the street from Walgreens. 

DeAngelis would not disclose when the York Road store would close, or when the new store would open. However, he said CVS's district business office, situated next door to the York Road location, would remain at its current location.

• Speaking of CVS' current York Road location, Dollar Global Mini Mart opened across the street about two weeks ago. Located in the space formerly housed by a formal wear store, the mart carries items similar to that of convenience stores and also offers bill payment services.
• McCourt's Farm to Table Restaurant, 119 S. York Road, is expected to open soon - perhaps by Monday - according to owner Kevin McCourt. The BYOB restaurant will feature organic, locally grown entrees.
