UPDATED: Crews Battle Horsham Blaze

A fire in a three-story building broke out Tuesday afternoon.

Fire officials from multiple departments worked to extinguish a two-alarm fire which broke out shortly before 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Situated at Horsham and Lower State roads in Horsham Township, heavy fire was pouring from the roof of a building still under construction.

No injuries were reported, but firefighters were monitored due to Tuesday's high temperatures. The fire was placed under control just before 2 p.m., officials said.

J.D. Brooke of Philly Fire News, said a portion of Horsham Road was closed while firefighters worked to knock down the fire that he said started in the attic area of the building and quickly spread to the roof.

Patch will update this story as more information becomes available.
